I Am

THE ACHIEVER

I am a self-starter with an insatiable need for bigger and better things. I dislike idleness and feel that time not well used to accomplish something is time wasted. No matter whether my goals are large or small, I put in a consistent and unwavering effort to get things done. I set high standards with high goals; perhaps too lofty at times.

A perfectionist at times, this can cause issues with my ambition. I can be a workaholic and overachievers, but my dedication and determination to a goal, task, and job are undeniable. Achievers have excellent marks in becoming great leaders and pioneers in the least; we set good examples for others.

Ambition can accomplish great things. I show drive, persistence, and believe that I have what it takes to make something of myself. Without ambition, I think one experiences stagnancy, apathy, and boredom. Ambition does require change and effort to bring with it the risk of failure. To aspire to be something new has to lead me to a renewal in my ability and faith to succeed.

As the late and great Steve Jobs states:
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.Steve Jobs
